Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

Q: At what point should I be confirming a DJ for my event?

A: It is advisable to begin the search for a disc jockey shortly after you have confirmed the date with a function facility. As with function halls, DJ's have busy seasons as well. So please plan accordingly.

Q: Can 888LatinDJ.com provide a written contract and references from previous clients?

A: All events are confirmed with a written contract. Previous clients have been known to sing our praises. Please ask our DJ about references during your initial meeting, and we will be happy to supply you with testimonials from clients that love our services.

Q: When will your DJ arrive to setup?

A: Our DJs arrive 60 minutes prior to a client's event. Setup and breakdown of equipment usually takes about 30 minutes.

Q: How will the DJ for my event be dressed?

A: For formal events our DJ will wear a tuxedo, and be appropriately dressed for all semi-formal events.

Q: What music will be played at my event?

A: During your event, you are the boss, and it is our strong desire to entertain you and your guests as best as possible. 888LatinDJ.Com encourages our clients to make a list of songs they would like played at their event. Using his professional experience, our DJ takes the list of songs and creates a musical program.  Similarly, if there are particular songs you don't wish to be played at your event, please feel free to note them on your song list.

Q: Should I tip the DJ?

A: It is customary to tip your Photographer, Videographer and DJ/Band. However, whether you do or not is entirely up to you.
